Philips Mobiles Highlights

Philips is a multinational conglomerate founded in May 1891, making it one of the oldest companies in the entire world. It was established by Gerard and Anton Philips, and it has its headquarters located in Amsterdam, Netherlands. As a conglomerate, Philips had also entered the mobile phone industry with a few nifty products, and it has a few feature phones and smartphones in its current product portfolio. Philips mobiles, ever since their introduction in the Indian market, have been quite popular given the brand’s reputation of making reliable products over the years.

One of the most popular Philips phones in the Indian market was the Philips E105, which was a feature phone released by the brand in December 2015. Featuring 128MB of internal storage, the mobile phone came powered with an NXP processor and came equipped with in-built FM recording and SNS integration. In the next few years, Philips had also made some nifty smartphones that were built around the Android ecosystem, one of the most popular operating systems for mobile phones.

The Philips smartphone range, however, only lasted for a few years and made the brand return to making feature phones. The Philips mobile price list, on the contrary, signifies a great value-for- money proposition for its erstwhile smartphones. The most iconic Philips new mobile of all time has to be the C12, a classic Candybar handset released in the late-1990s. It was way ahead of its time thanks to its ability to save messages and an aerial you could screw on and off.
