Google Mobiles Highlights

One of the leading technology firms in the whole world, Google needs no introduction. Despite being founded in September 1998, Google stepped into the smartphone space very late. Before making Google phones a reality, the manufacturer first started out by making an operating system, dubbed Android. In the past, there have been Google smartphones that were made in collaboration with other leading smartphone makers. For instance, the first phone that ran Google’s Android OS was made by HTC, and it was called the HTC Dream.

However, soon after, Google started naming these smartphones under its own family. The first range of Google mobiles was the Nexus series, of which the first model was the Nexus One, released in January 2010 and manufactured by HTC. Google also partnered with Samsung, LG, Motorola, and Huawei for its Android-powered smartphones, until it stepped all in the game and started manufacturing its own products under the Google branding.

The first Google smartphone to be developed under Google’s vision was called the Google Pixel, released in 2016. Since then, Google all mobiles have been named under the Pixel family with a suffix number portraying the generation of the product. This has given Google the distinct advantage of developing both the hardware and software of all Google new mobile under the same roof. Sadly, however, Google mobile price list have always been on the higher end of the market since the manufacturer makes some of the best camera phones in the Indian market with high-end flagship specifications.
