Formerly known as Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd., Panasonic Corporation was founded in March 1918 by Kōnosuke Matsushita as a lightbulb socket maker. With its headquarters in the Kadoma region of Osaka, Japan, Panasonic is one of the oldest smartphone manufacturing companies in the Indian market.
