HPL Mobiles Highlights

One of the oldest firms in the industry, HP – short for Hewlett-Packard – is an American multinational IT firm, founded in January 1939. With its headquarters now located in the Palo Alto region of California, United States, the company was initially founded in a one-car garage in Palo Alto by William "Bill" Redington Hewlett and David "Dave" Packard. HP has been one of the veterans in the industry, thanks to years of experience and expertise in making technological products. The HP mobiles were initially branded under the iPAQ nomenclature.

The one that piqued the interest of many consumers across the industry was the iPAQ 112 Pocket PC launched in 2008, which, as its name implied, replicated a personal computer experience on a small portable device.

However, HP phones under the iPAQ branding failed to gain traction over the years, and the brand had no choice but to discontinue its iPAQ line-up. After a few years, HP smartphones became a reality in the Indian market as the brand introduced a range of new smartphones that were powered by the Android OS. Not just that, HP new mobiles were also based on the Windows operating system by Microsoft, and it was also rumoured that HP would be the first manufacturer to launch a mobile phone, based on Windows 10 operating system. One of the few advantages of purchasing HP all mobiles were their commendable price. As you can see in the HP mobile price list above, the manufacturer had always launched smartphones with an incredibly high price-to-value ratio.
