BLU Products is one of the few companies that sell mobile phones but doesn’t necessarily manufacture them. Loosely translated, BLU rebrands low-cost phones that are made by other manufacturers like Gionee, Doogee, QiKU, and Tinno Mobile in order to increase the reach of products manufactured by these companies to a wider audience. And for those of you who may not know, BLU is short for Bold Like Us, and it was founded in February 1996. It is an American firm, and its headquarters are present in Doral, a suburb of Miami, Florida.So, as discussed, BLU mobiles are rebranded version of budget phones by the abovementioned manufacturers. Well, BLU was initially aimed at the Latin population, expanding the reach for the above manufacturers in the said area. However, BLU phones were very appreciated and were soon also made available to the other parts of the world.

Over the years, BLU smartphones have mostly been based on the Android operating system. However, it has also made BLU latest mobiles based on the Windows OS in the past.
