Set up by Henri Crohas in the year 1988, Archos – usually stylized as ARCHOS – is a multinational electronics brand based in France. Alongside Archos mobiles, the brand has been known to make other electronic devices, too, like portable media players, data storage devices, tablets, and more. It has its headquarters in Igny, France, and it was, to be more precise, found on October 4, 1988. The first crop of smartphones made by the brand resided under Archos Titanium, Archos Platinum, Archos Neon, Archos Xenon, Archos Cesium, Archos Oxygen, Archos Helium, and Archos Diamond series, to name a few.
