The focus of a great deal of speculation by techies has been fixed upon the next successor Google Pixel 10. Recent leaks also seem to indicate that this version will lose some of the user-expected features. Many hearts were thus broken.

Nothing Too Surprising on The Design Upgrade
What was very well-known is that the design of the Pixel 10 will be nearly the same as the predecessor Pixel 9. Users were expecting it to have thinner bezels, a new camera module design, or even something entirely different-a foldable Milagro- but CAD leaked renders say one adjacent to these things would be there. Hence, this deserves to disappoint any such person expecting something new with respect to design.
LTPO Display Is Likely to Be Excluded
Many had thought the Pixel 10 series would comprise the whole LTPO (Low Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide) display since it enhances battery backup while smooth scrolling and allows a refresh rate between 1Hz to 120Hz. But recent reports state the base model of the Pixel 10 is unlikely to have this display, primarily for the Pro variant.
No Major Upgrade in Camera Hardware
Expectations come with the best of cameras, which are new in a Pixel phone. But sources say that there will be no significant change in camera sensor or hardware as far as the Pixel 10 is concerned. While improvements are likely to be there on the software processing part, the major lens upgrade that users were expecting for this time might just be skipped.
Fast Charging Remains Low in Google Pixel 10
One of the predominant complaints has been concerning the Pixel phones, which do not have 65 watts of fast charging or more like other flagships. Leaked news seems to also suggest that fast charging has been held back to 30 watts on the Pixel 10. Google, thus, is lagging behind rival Samsung and OnePlus.

Why Does Google Avoid These Upgrades?
Altogether, the picture is of a hardware company that, according to the experts, focuses more on software experience, AI, and long-term updates. However, such an approach does not seem to satisfy major portions of customers who just want the best features on their new devices.
With the promise of a great software experience and AI features, then again, maybe some major hardware upgrades absent might not be able to please certain user groups. As things stand now, some changes could yet be expected before the actual rollout, but from the information available, the Google Pixel 10 may not be the very best in all respects.
