Google is using Tensor chips for a long time now for it's Pixel smartphones and this chips are usually both it's strength on one hand and weakness on the other. The tech company provides some unparalleled AI features than the rest. But still their output and thermal functioning remains way behind than others by a considerable generation.
This lagging happens because of Google which uses the lesser effective foundry of Samsung for the fabrication of the Tensor chips. But this lagging won't happen for Pixel 10 as the company will switch to the more advance foundry of TSMC . Reports also state about the company's extensive partnership with TSMC even in the future.
Why does Google take this Step?
The company doubles on it's TSMC partnership for the top-notch technology TSMC is using which will give positive outcome with the thermal efficacy for the Tensor chips making sure to cut down or completely remove the overheating. With this step the Pixel manufacturing company actually comes at an equal level with Qualcomm and Apple, as both of these giants partner with the same TSMC for their chips of the smartphones.

With this latest decision Pixel smartphones will evidently benefit. If the chips run cool it will lead to maintain a good charge or battery life of the smartphones. Well this is also visible in the Pixel 9 range. Copied on Samsung's 3nm node, the Tensor G4 SoC remains cool while functioning and also requires lesser power than the rest of the older Tensor chips.
Any Rumours Coming in?
Is it even possible to avoid rumours when the worldclass tech groups are cracking deals? Of course not and this remains so with this tech development as well. Yes some recent rumours claim about Google thinking to forge the Tensor G5 chip of Pixel 10 on the 3nm node of TSMC. It is reportedly the same technology which Apple uses for some of it's iPhone models.
