Vivo V23e Expert Verdict
Vivo is expanding its V-series phone range with the recent launch of Vivo V23e in Vietnam. It is said to come with interesting features such as a 50-megapixel camera, AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution as well as 44W fast charging. The smartphone is expected to roll out in February 2022 in India with the Vivo V23e price likely to be Rs. 27,890. With the colour options of Moonlight Dance and Dawn Melodies, the handset is packed with 8 GB RAM along with 128 GB internal memory.
Display
The Android 11 based Vivo V23e features a 6.44 inches FHD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 409 ppi pixel density. Additionally, the device features a bezel-less display along with a waterdrop notch on the top of the camera. The display offers a refresh rate of 60 Hz. Besides the 83.8% screen to body ratio, the smartphone has dimensions of 160.8 mm x 74.2 mm x 7.3 mm.

Vivo V23e is equipped with a triple camera unit on the back which includes a 64-megapixel primary camera along with 8 megapixels ultra wide angle camera and a 2-megapixel for macro shots. As mentioned earlier, for video chats and selfies, the device sports a 50-megapixel primary front camera. The aperture of the smartphone is f/2.0. Other camera features include Dual-LED dual-tone flash, HDR, face detection and panorama. The image resolution of the camera is 9000 x 7000 pixels.
Performance
Powering the Vivo V23e is MediaTek Helio G96 chipset and Mali-G57 MC2 graphics, further coupled with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB in-built storage (which can be further expanded up to 1TB). It gets a Li-ion 4050 mAh with 44W charging via USB type C. The processor features Octa-core Cortex A55 CPU and is based on Funtouch OS that runs on Android v11. A few of the connectivity options include 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi 802.11, Mobile Hotspot, A-GPS and Bluetooth v5.2. The handset also has a fingerprint sensor which is placed on-screen for security purposes.
