Design

Starting with the design, Samsung Galaxy S22 ultra gets a rectangular shape, curved edges and a matte brushed metal finish. It comes with a 6.8-inch super AMOLED display panel with an FHD+ resolution. For a smoother experience, the device comes with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and to easily read in the sun, the peak brightness is 1,750 nits. Besides this, the device gets a signature S pen that lets you digitally sign or annotate on the go. The size of this pen is 2.8ms latency and the 0.7mm pen tip diameter and it gets a dedicated slot so that it is not misplaced. Features like IP68 dust and water resistance are also present in the smartphone which prevents it from occasional water splash and dust. Lastly, the smartphone comes with a new VisionBooster feature which adjusts the contrast and color of the screen and the brightness automatically based on the ambient lighting condition.

Camera

Moving to the optics department, the smartphone packs 108-MP high-resolution primary camera which is the brand’s biggest pixel sensor. This can detect low lightning and also unify its megapixels to increase the size. It includes nona-binning for bigger pixels that let us capture more light and result in brighter pictures. The other two camera sensors include a 2MP ultrawide option and a pair of 10-MP telephoto lenses. The camera also has a nightography that allows a new feature Super Night Solution which uses the phone’s NPU chip and refined AI algorithm that takes multiple shots and combines the best ones into the final image. It houses a Li-ion 5,000mAh battery and runs the Android v12-based One UI 4.1 over the top. The graphic requirements are covered by Adreno 730 GPU. The connectivity options present in Samsung Galaxy S22 ultra are dual sim, 5G, 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth v5.2, A-GPS/GLONASS, and NFC.
