Recently, the new S22 series by Samsung made its global debut at the Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event. This includes Samsung Galaxy S22, Samsung Galaxy S22+, and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, which is expected to launch in India soon. The price is expected to be Rs. 62,200 with the memory configuration of 8 GB RAM paired with 128GB / 256 GB in-built storage. This smartphone comes in four color variants including Phantom Black, Green, Phantom White, and Rose gold colors. In India and other two countries - US and China, the smartphone is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor built using 4nm fabs.

Design

Samsung Galaxy S22 runs at full HD+ resolution and measures 6.1-inches; with the Dynamic AMOLED 2X display panel. Furthermore, the smartphone gets a 10-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate in game mode, and 422 PPI density for a better screening and touch experience. The aspect ratio of the device is 19.5:9. The device is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ and the back is built of Armor aluminum frame. Speaking about the measurement, the device’s size is 146mm x 70.6mm x 7.6mm and weighs 168g. Lastly, this smartphone includes IP68 dust and water resistance features as well.

Camera

Moving to the optics department, the device gets a triple rear camera that is helmed with a 50 MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture. It is further joined with a 12 MP ultra-wide shooter and 10 MP telephoto camera. The camera use tetra-binning technology that results in better low-light photos. Furthermore, the telephoto lens is equipped with OIS and offers 3x optical zoom, as well as 30x space zoom.
