Motorola G51 5G

Motorola has finally unveiled the new Motorola G51 5G in India in December 2021. Known for the latest affordable 5G smartphone, the device comes up with attractive features including a 5G snapdragon SOC, 120Hz display, and a 50 MP camera. This newly launched smartphone is a recent addition to the ever-expanding Moto G series and comes in two colour variants - Indigo Blue and Bright Silver. Motorola G51 5G price is Rs. 14,999 for 4 GB RAM paired with 64 GB storage. 

Display

The newly launched Motorola G51 5G is equipped with a 6.8-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD panel. It supports an aspect ratio of 20:9, pixel density of 387 PPI, and a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Moreover, the device gets a punch-hole cutout housing a front camera with a narrow bottom bezel. There is an 85.6%, screen body ratio, and 240Hz touch sampling rate. Thus, making it optimized for binge-watching and for a smooth scrolling experience. Motorola G51 5G dimensions are 170.5 mm x 76.5 mm x 9.1 mm and weigh 208] g. 

Camera

Motorola G51 5G mobile features the triple-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 50 MP f/1.8 main camera, an 8 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle shooter, and a 2 MP f/2.4 macro lens. The secondary camera of 8 MP also acts as a depth sensor. The rear-facing camera system on this device includes Autofocus, 8 x Digital Zoom, HDR, Panorama, and Face Detection. As far as the front camera is concerned, the smartphone packs a 13 MP f/2.2 selfie camera. 

Performance

As for the chipset, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 Plus runs the show under the hood. The smartphone also includes Kryo 460 CPU and Adreno 619 GPU. As mentioned earlier, Motorola G51 5G is available in 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage configuration. The device runs Android 11-based MyUX out-of-the-box. The smartphone also comes equipped with a Li-polymer 5,000 mAh battery with 20W rapid charging support. Talking about the connectivity options, the smartphone gets 5G, 4G, 3G, 2G, Mobile Hotspot,  Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth v5.1, A-GPS, NFC, and 3.5 mm audio jack. The side-mounted fingerprint scanner is also present in the device for security purposes.
