In August 2021, India’s homegrown brand, Micromax launched its budget-friendly smartphone - Micromax IN 2b. The base variant has 4GB RAM paired with 64GB in-built storage at the price of Rs. 8,499 while the other variant has 6GB RAM paired with 64GB internal storage at the cost of Rs. 9,499. Display

The display on the Micromax IN 2b has an HD+ resolution. The screen size is 6.5-inch and has a mini drop display panel. It refreshes at 60 Hz and has a maximum resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The bezel-less display also comes with a waterdrop feature that gets 400 nits peak brightness, 20:9 aspect ratio, 269 PPI, and 89% screen to body ratio. The dimensions of this device are 164.3 mm x 75.6 mm x 8.6 mm and the back of it is made up of plastic.

Camera

The smartphone features a 5-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture and screen flash. On the rear, the Micromax IN 2b mobile comes with a 13-megapixel wide-angle primary camera paired with a 2-megapixel camera that covers depth shots. The camera features 4 x Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, and Touch to focus. It also includes FHD video recording along with unique Play and Pause recording features. Performance

The All-new Micromax IN 2b runs on Android v11 along with the Stock Android 11 OS. It packs an ARM Cortex A75 chipset coupled with the graphics of the Mali G52 GPU. There is a Li-polymer 5000 mAh battery that fuels up the smartphone i.e the battery life is for up to 15 hours for video streaming and up to 50 hours of talk time. The device features a 4G, 3G, 2G, Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11, A-GPS / Glonass, Wi-Fi Direct, Mobile Hotspot, FM Radio, and 3.5 mm audio jack as connectivity options. There’s a fingerprint sensor on the back of the smartphone. The right side of the smartphone has the volume rocker and power keys sandwiched on it, while the SIM tray is present on the left side. Other sensors included in the smartphone are a Light sensor, Proximity sensor, and Accelerometer.
