Lava has come up with its first 5G mid-range smartphone in India - Lava Agni 5G which rolled out in November 2021 with the starting Lava Agni 5G price of just Rs. 17,999. This newly launched device flaunts MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor and a quad rear camera setup. Fiery blue is the only colour variant of this smartphone and its base variant has 8 GB RAM with in-built storage of 128 GB.
Design
Featuring a 6.78-inch screen, Lava Agni 5G comes with an IPS LCD bezel-less display with a punch-hole design on the top left corner. The smartphone has a refresh rate of 90 Hz, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and a pixel density of 396 PPI. The screen of the device is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass v3 that protects it from accidental falls. The dimensions of the smartphone are 168.8 mm x 76.8 mm x 9.1 mm.
Camera
Lava Agni 5G is equipped with a quad-camera unit on the back which includes a 64-megapixel primary camera along with a 5-megapixel ultrawide angle lens, a 2-megapixel depth camera and a 2-megapixel for macro shots. For video chats and selfies, the device sports a 16-megapixel primary front camera. The aperture of the smartphone is f/2.0. The image resolution of the camera is 9000 x 7000 pixels. Other camera features include Dual-LED flash, HDR, Autofocus, Digital Zoom and Touch to Focus.

The Lava Agni 5G gets a MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor chipset, which is further paired with 8 GB RAM paired with 128 GB in-built storage. The Mali-G57 MC2 covers the graphic requirements besides the octa-core Cortex A55 CPU. The phone runs on Android 11 out-of-the-box and it features a sizable Li-ion 5,000mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging. It also gets a side-mounted capacitive fingerprint sensor, Gyroscope, Proximity sensor, Light sensor, Compass and Accelerometer.
