Infinix Note 10 Summary
Unveiled in May 2021, the Infinix Note 10 – alongside its Pro sibling – was introduced in the Indian market in a span of just a month. It succeeds the Note 8 from 2020 and brings about a few changes under the hood to make it worth the fuss. It sits in the lower end of the Indian smartphone space, as, at the time of launch, the Infinix Note 10 price started at Rs 10,999 for the base model.
Display
A rather substantial upgrade from its predecessor, the Infinix Note 10 now has a similar-sized display – a 6.95-inches LCD unit – that features FHD+ resolution. This is quite an upgrade from the HD+ resolution display from last year. It also has a smooth refresh rate, capped at 90Hz, which is always good to see in a phone from this segment. Along with the smooth display, the front of the phone also gets a sizeable chin at the bottom and a hole-punch selfie camera on the top, more of which we’ll discuss in the Camera section.
Camera
As mentioned above, the Infinix Note 10 specifications include a punch-hole selfie camera. It is located in the top centre of the display, and it is a 16MP sensor. It can be used for face unlock, against the side-mounted capacitive fingerprint scanner. At the rear, on the other hand, are three cameras along with an LED flash. At the helm is a 48MP primary sensor, which is joined by a 2MP macro lens and a depth sensor.
Performance
Powering the Infinix Note 10 is a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC combined with up to 6GB of RAM. The processor and RAM combination seems adequate for the price. And while the base variant gets 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, there’s also a higher-end variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There’s also a microSD expansion slot, should the internal storage run out in the future. Besides that, there’s a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging out-of-the-box. Moreover, the phone runs on Android 11 with the brand’s XOS 7.6 skin on top.
The smartphone is available in three colours, namely Emerald Green, 7 Degree Purple, and 95 Degree Black.
