Honor Magic 3 Pro Plus 5G

Recently, Honor unveiled three smartphones as part of the Magic 3 series - Honor Magic 3, 3 Pro, and 3 Pro+. These newly launched devices boast top-end technology and a cutting-edge design including an IMAX camera, flagship chipset, and 5G support. 

Here, we will be discussing only Honor Magic 3 Pro+ 5G that was launched in November 2021 in India. Although Magic 3 series devices have similarities, there are a few key differences in terms of processors, design, and cameras. 

Honor Magic 3 Pro+ 5G price is Rs. 91,790 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage variant. The available colour options are – Ceramic Black and Ceramic White. 

Display

The display on the Honor Magic 3 Pro+ 5G offer HDR10+ support. The screen size is 6.7 inches and has an OLED curved display panel. It refreshes at 120 Hz and has a maximum resolution of 1344 x 2772 pixels. The bezel-less display also comes with a punch-hole cut-out that incorporates a front camera. Other than these, the smartphone gets an IP certification for dust and water resistance. This lets the smartphone be protected from dust and water for around 30 minutes. For creating a comfortable yet premium grip, the handset delivers a design that includes a Nanoceramic body and a super curved nanocrystal shield. 

Camera

The camera is one of the important features of this smartphone that lets it shine. Honor Magic 3 Pro+ 5G mobile features the quad-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 50 MP f/1.9 main camera, 64 MP f/3.5 Telephoto (up to 3.5x Optical Zoom) lens, 64 MP f/1.8 Mono Camera, and 64 MP f/2.4 ultra-wide shooter. The rear-facing camera system on this device includes an Exmor-RS CMOS Sensor, Phase Detection autofocus, Optical Image Stabilisation, and LED flash. Over on the front, however, the smartphone packs a 13 MP f/2.4 selfie camera. 

Performance

Honor Magic 3 Pro+ 5G is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus processor and comes with Adreno 660 GPU. Along with the chipset, the smartphone gets an OS Turbo X that contains anti-ageing, smart memory, and low latency engines that improve fluency and enables more apps to be in the background. As for storage options, the smartphone is assembled with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The device is fueled by Li-polymer 4,600 mAh battery that comes with super 66W fast charging support. Honor Magic 3 Pro+ 5G offers 5G support. It also gets 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth v5.2, A-GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C. Lastly, the device comes with enhanced security capabilities such as 3D ToF front Camera and an On-screen fingerprint sensor.
