Honor 50 Pro Summary

In June 2020, Honor launched three android devices - Honor 50, Honor 50 Pro, and Honor 50 SE in its home country - China. Besides that, the brand also announced that there will be Google's Mobile Services present in the smartphones for international markets. This includes Malaysia, France, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, and the UK.

Recently in November 2021, the Honor 50 Pro was unveiled in the Indian market. The base variant has 8GB RAM with 256GB in-built storage and the price is Rs. 42,390. It is available in four colours - Amber Red, Frost Crystal, Emerald Green, and Midnight Black.

The newly launched Honor 50 Pro is equipped with a 6.72-inch FHD+ OLED display. It supports an aspect ratio of 19.5:9, pixel density of 429 PPI, and a screen resolution of 1080 x 2676 pixels. Moreover, the device gets a punch-hole cutout with a narrow bottom bezel. There is a 90.8%, screen body ratio, 10-bit colour depth, and 100% coverage of DCI-P3 wide colour gamut in the display panel. Thus, making it optimized for binge-watching. The device also comes with a face unlock too. Honor 50 Pro dimensions are 163.5 x 74.7 x 8 mm and weigh 187 g.

For camera duties, Honor 50 Pro mobile gets a quad-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 108 MP f/1.9 primary camera, 8 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens, 2 MP f/2.4 Mono Camera, and 2 MP f/2.4 depth shooter. The rear-facing camera system on this device includes an HDR, panorama, Phase Detection autofocus, Face detection, and Touch to focus. Over on the front, however, the smartphone packs a dual selfie camera that consists of a 32 MP f/2.2 wide-angle selfie camera and a 12 MP f/2.4 ultra-wide-angle camera.
