Gionee S12 Lite

Gionee unveiled the latest affordable smartphone - Gionee S12 Lite that comes with pretty basic features. S12 Lite is an entry-level smartphone in the emerging market and costs Rs. 11,999. The smartphone was launched in November 2021 with three colour options - Blue, Green, and Grey. The smartphone has a sole variant of 3GB RAM and 32GB in-built storage.

Display

The screen size of the Gionee S12 Lite is 6.52-inch and has an IPS LCD display panel. It has a maximum resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The bezel-less display also comes with a waterdrop notch feature. Moreover, the smartphone gets a 269 PPI density and 80.9% screen-to-body ratio. The screen dimensions are 166.2 mm x 76.3 mm x 8.4 mm with a weight of 174 g. 

Camera

For optics, Gionee’s latest S series phone comes with a triple-camera setup with a 13 MP sensor at the helm. The main camera is paired with a 5 MP Wide Angle and 2 MP Depth Camera. The rear camera features LED flash, HDR, Digital zoom, Face detection, and Touch to focus. On the other hand, the smartphone comes with a single 8MP front camera. 4128 x 3096 pixels is the image resolution of the camera. 

Performance

As for the chipset, the MediaTek Helio A25 runs the show under the hood. The device also includes PowerVR GE8320 GPU and Cortex A53 CPU. As mentioned above, Gionee S12 Lite is available in 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage configuration. The device runs the Android 10 version. The smartphone also comes equipped with a Li-polymer 4,000 mAh battery. Talking about the connectivity options, the smartphone gets 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi 802.11, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.2, A-GPS, and 3.5 mm audio jack. There’s a fingerprint scanner on the back of the device for security purposes.
