WWE on Netflix: Trish Stratus Shares Massive Praise on the Growth of The WWE Women’s Division

Trish Stratus is often regarded as one of the strongest pillars of the evolution of the women’s division of WWE. Having won the WWE Women’s Championship seven times in total, she was one of the biggest attractions of her time. Her popularity forces WWE to keep bringing her back again and again.

WrestleMania 32 is widely considered to be the event that started the women’s revolution through the triple threat Women’s Championship match between Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Sasha Banks. Since then, women of WWE have come a long way to match the same standard as men.

But the contributions of the previous stars like Lita, Molly Holly, Mickie James, Victoria, Trish Stratus, and other names can never be forgotten. Stratus even challenged Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s title at the latest PLE Evolution. After the event, she joined the post show panel where she expressed her happiness about the evolution of the women’s division. She said;

“I have that thought, like, ‘Is this the last time?’ Like, it could be. And the WWE Universe has been so wonderful for me and so supportive. I just feel so blessed to be able to dip my toes into the waters of the current landscape, like how lucky I am…” she continued,

“It’s never lost on me how lucky I am to know that we built — the girls, me, Ivory, Jackie, the girls you saw in the audience. Lita of course, Mickie, we built the foundation that they built a skyscraper on. So now that I get to come back and kind of dip into that skyscraper… I just feel blessed.”
