The expansion of Bloodline continues as the newest member of the faction joined at the Backlash event. Famous independent circuit star Jeff Cobb has made his WWE debut as the newest member of the Bloodline faction presently led by Solo Sikoa. The present United States Champion Jacob Fatu.
At Backlash earlier this month, Jacob Fatu defended his WWE United States Championship in a fatal 4 way match against LA Knight, Drew McIntyre, and Damian Priest. Jeff Cobb made his WWE debut at the dying moment of this match, assisting Jacob Fatu in winning the match and retaining the match.

WWE Hall of Famer talks about JC Mateo
On the next episode of Smackdown, Cobb was introduced in front of the WWE Universe as JC Mateo, and he is presently working as a heel as he is a member of the Bloodline. WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi, who is also the father of Solo Sikoa, recently talked about JC Mateo and explained why he should be taken seriously. Speaking on his "Off The Top" podcast, he said the following;
JC Mateo made his WWE debut at Backlash to help Jacob Fatu
"What he has learned and went through with the independent circuit, dealing with a lot of promoters, dealing with his own business as far as how to negotiate deals...I'm sure he was ready by the time he came to WWE, and to be able to have that financial security, whether he works in a work or doesn't in a month, he still gets a weekly paycheck.

JC Mateo was known as Jeff Cobb while working outside of WWE
“So that to me is the number one winner for me, for all those that get an opportunity to able to wrestle in WWE or any big company that pays hard-earned money, and it couldn't happen to a better guy." Said the former WWE Intercontinental Champion.

A large number of fans are not happy with the introduction of Mateo as he is already 42 and will be 43 by this July. A lot of young and talented WWE stars do not get any opportunity to prove themselves, and wrestlers from the Samoan family get chances quite easily. But we hope Mateo proves his worth soon.
