WWE is burying Becky Lynch? The Irish Lass Kicker is often considered the first and only female megastar of WWE, and she is indeed one of the most famous stars of WWE right now. She has created back to back histories like main eventing and winning the first ever women’s WrestleMania main event.

She recently made her return to WWE at WrestleMania 41 on Netflix after nearly a year of absence and teamed up with Lyra Valkyria to beat The Judgment Day (Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez). But on the very next night on RAW, she dropped the title, and Becky shocked everyone by turning heel.

Former WWE Champion believes WWE is burying Becky Lynch

But overall, is it turning out to be a burial for ‘The Man?’ ECW legend and former twenty one times WWE Hardcore Champion Stevie Richards recently made a shocking claim that using Becky Lynch as a heel is more of a burial for her, since the fans love her, so this heel turn will not work. On a recent episode of Stevie Richards Show, he explained the following;

Becky Lynch has returned to WWE at WrestleMania 41 on Netflix

“Her heel character to me is it’s not as good as her babyface character because even though the saying is or at least the comparison is it’s much easier to be hated than loved.” Richards continued, “Her and Cena are the opposite. People like them, no matter what. Even though Cena gets the dual chants of ‘you suck’ and ‘let’s go Cena,’ Becky doesn’t even have a 50/50 right now. She’s mostly still cheered to some degree, or at least they watch.

“And the apathy, too, of not knowing how to do this or how to react to her, is not positive. It’s negative. I feel like with Cena and Becky, you can tell they are acting like a heel. They’re playing a heel.” Richards said, “You can’t come onto TV in the past and you’re going to be a mother, the most babyfaced job ever to exist in history, and then come back and be a heel for the second time.

“You’re in dangerous Paul Orndorff territory. You’re a babyface, a heel, babyface and a heel. Guess what? We don’t care either way. That’s the worst. And that’s where she has to be careful. So she’s not getting the other girl over.” Said the former WWE star.

Becky Lynch doing a feud for the new WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship would have been a great boost for this title, as this new women’s mid card title has not been a very big deal despite its high prestige. Lynch’s involvement will definitely do a good job is boosting the title.
