WWE video games under 2K have always been bashed by the hardcore WWE fans who also love playing WWE video games. It is claimed that the makers of these video games never had the passion in WWE unlike the team of Yuke's used to have when they developed the WWE video game under THQ.
With the massive failure of WWE 2K20, this belief even became stronger. The game was so bad that 2K did not even take the risk of making WWE 2K21, which was scheduled to be their next WWE video game project. But WWE 2K22 was a very good video game as they got over a couple of years to work on this project.

The game mode that needs to return in WWE 2K video games
During the THQ era of WWE video games, they are had been many game modes that the fans loved to play. One of the key features that was introduced in WWE SmackDown vs RAW 2007 was the General Manager mode but it was removed after the introduction of the Road to WrestleMania mode in SmackDown vs RAW 2009.
General Manager mode returned to WWE video games through WWE 2K22
Speaking of the Road to WrestleMania mode, it was also removed from WWE 12. THQ never brought back the General Manager mode, but after constant demand from the fans, 2K finally decided to bring this mode back in 2K22, which can be considered a cost for the mistake in their previous installment.

Story Maker mode had been removed from WWE video games after 2013
But there is still one mode that the huge fan base is still looking forward to returning, and that is the Tori designer mode which was introduced during WWE SmackDown vs RAW 2010. It had been an amazing feature as gamers could create their dream storyline using whichever superstars they wanted to be in it.

This mode remained in the WWE video games as long as it was there, which clearly means that they wanted to keep it. But once 2K introduced the simulation style gameplay, they removed the story designer mode. This has been a consistent demand from the fans, creating your dream story and sharing it on the internet would have been an amazing thing in today's world. We seriously hope they brings it back soon.
