This claim created controversy instantly after it got aired. Wrestling Legend Reacts on Jeff Hardy’s Claim That He Could Have Been Bigger Than John Cena
A large number of fans have already spoke about this shocking claim of Hardy, so as some wrestlers and pundits, which includes Jeff’s brother Matt Hardy. Speaking on his “The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy" Podcast, he recently gave his point of view on his younger brother’s bold claim. He said;
Jeff Hardy is a three times WWE World Champion
"I think if Jeff would've been in the right headspace and had his act together like he does now, I think he could've been a top guy for a long time. I don't know if he would've been bigger than Cena just because I don't know how Jeff's promos would've translated over," said Matt. "He's a very unique character, he's a very unique enigma, but like talking, especially at that time with Vince [McMahon] in charge, was a very important factor."

Jeff Hardy is presently active in TNA Wrestling
"There's something about him that just draws you to him. He has 'it' which a lot of people don't have," Matt stated. "It would have been very interesting to see if he would have been in this headspace how far he could've gone then. I definitely think he could've been a top guy and been a multiple time world champion."
Jeff Hardy and John Cena worked together in WWE at a point and both of them were main eventers of the promotion. But Jeff could not be relevant for long as Cena remained the face of WWE even after the departure of Jeff. This may not be a great comparison but both of these names will be considered the biggest names in wrestling history.
