Windows 11 has borne the brunt of criticism since its launch because it is said to be more modern, more efficient, and more secure than its predecessor. Some of the innovations touted in the operating system are indeed there, but they are glaringly missing from the OS and sorely missed by the PC user. Next, we're looking at 5 of those features that Windows 11 users want to have, which would have added much comfort to the entire OS experience.

Fully Supported Drag and Drop in the Taskbar is Missing in Windows 11
Everyone enjoyed the Windows 10 feature of simply dragging files or folders from the taskbar and dropping them into another application. This is very little Windows 11. Users are hopeful that Microsoft will soon bring back the drag-and-drop function to the taskbar.
Customization in The Start Menu
It's clear that even though the Start menu design of this new OS appears very simple and clean, it does not have the feature to use tiles or group all-time favorites like Windows 10. Many users want the Start Menu to be highly customizable to arrange favorite apps and folders with ease.
Denial of Timeline Feature by Windows
In Windows 10, the Timeline made it easier for users to switch between tasks. One lost feature in this OS- and one that many folks are shedding tears over is that of the timeline. If one could have a timeline, then one could click easily on the old documents or browsing history.
Taskbar Positioning Ability
Users in Windows 10 can move the taskbar to the top, right, or left of the monitor. Unfortunately, this is no longer available in this new OS, disappointing most PC users, as it can certainly be quite useful when dealing with larger monitors or types of setups.

More Advanced Widget Customization
This New OS has widgets, but is still limited in terms of customization. Its users are looking forward to additional options when it comes to the size, position, and content of the widgets. What is in addition is that the support for third-party widgets is still subsisting.
Windows 11 would have had more features that would simplify its use by many people. Microsoft should also listen to the needs of its users and incorporate them into the future updates of its products. If you are using Windows 11, then you would already have felt the loss of these features.
