From the beginning of 2025, WWE has started to be telecast on Netflix worldwide. But in the case of India, the story had been a little different. Even after the mentioned media platform got the rights to telecast WWE, Sony Sports Network continued to show the program on television until March.

Since last April, WWE has totally moved to Netflix in India, and all the live content is presently available on the mentioned OTT platform. Fans are now enjoying WWE content with better picture quality, the only thing is, you need a subscription to this OTT to enjoy WWE.

Why is all WWE content not available on Netflix

But despite WWE having now moved to the OTT, the complete package of the promotion is still not available on the mentioned platform. You can only watch the mainline shows like SmackDown, RAW, and NXT, the major PLE events, and a lot of older peerly events with weekly content.

Still, a lot of previous WWE shows are not available on the OTT, like you cannot watch Saturday Night's Main Event yet, and a lot of Weekly shows episodes are not available either. Archives like WCW and ECW are also not available yet. In simple words, not even half of the WWE content is available on Netflix as of now.

Previously, WWE was available on Sony Liv OTT in India

But those who have used the OTT app of Sony LIV in India have enjoyed the content that WWE owned until the date it had the rights. So we can definitely expect everything to move to the present OTT platform soon. It may take a little time, however.

But why whole WWE content still not available on the mentioned platform? It has been reported that the issue in India occurs because Sony Sports Network still owns a lot of WWE content of WWE and as long as they lose all the rights, things will not be available on the present platform.
