The OnePlus 13 launched in China last November and globally available in January 2025 along with the 13R. Recently, the more compact version of the 13T by this brand was released exclusively in China. However, the rebranded version of this phone, named OnePlus 13s, was released in India.
Expected that the next smartphone by this brand will come in the US in the next year. The next version’s early leak have already started to surface. The next flagship could be called OnePlus 15. Maybe the 14 lineup will skip because the number four is considered unlucky for China.Digital chat station leaked few details about the new phone.
Rumored Design of The OnePlus 15
This handset may feature a thin and simple design. The recent versions of this brand have been categorized by the circular rear cameras. But the new 15 might be stepping away from this design and could feature a completely new design.
The 13 is 8.5mm thick, so we can expect that the new 15 could be trimmed down.
The Downgrade Display
The 13 lineup featured a 6.82-inch display size with a 2K LTPO display, but the new one could feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO display. That would be a major downgrade. And also, it could feature a new “LIPO packaging process”, and as a result, the phone could have narrow bezels.
Camera Specifications
The New 15 flagship could sport the same camera configuration as the 13. The 13 has a 50MP Sony LYT 808 primary sensor with a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP Sony LYT-600 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and the front camera is a 32MP Sony IMX615 lens. The 15 may feature the same camera configuration. It could sport a telephoto periscope lens with the same 50MP sensor and 3x optical zoom. The phone could run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset.
But the whole early leak must be a possibility. There is no obvious news, so the final launch could differ from the leaks.
