The trailer of the upcoming video game The Age of Bhaarat had been released recently. As promised, it totally looks like an epic Indian action adventure game which will be based on Indian mythology. There are glimpses of the Indian Puranas throughout the trailer.
This is not the first ever video game where India is the set to explore. In many video games in past, the gamers witnessed India as a mission or a part of a video game. Prince of Persia, Tomb Raider, Hitman, No one Lives Forever, are Civilization, and to name a few.

But there are not many games which are totally based on India. One such example where you can only play in India is Uncharted The Lost Legacy. This video game tells the amazing history of the Hoysala dynasty which is over thousand years old.
Previously, there had been countless games that focused India as a plot or a mission
But even in this video game, you play as an American who is exploring India to get the lost tusk of Lord Ganesha. The Age of Bhaarat is going to be a different experience where the gamers will get to play as an Indian character to explore the ancient India has told in the mythologies.

So, what is going to be the storyline of The Age of Bhaarat? Presently, there are rumors that the storyline will touch the feet of the epics like Ramayana and Mahabharata, and it will also feature stories from The Puranas. But no storyline for the video game has been confirmed so far.

With Amish Tripathi associated with this video game, we can expect to see a new story with touches from the mythologies much like offered in his Shiva Trilogy. As of now, there is nothing confirmed, but all we are expecting is an original storyline with mythological touches.
