A huge update for owners of Tesla cars. Now with an iPhone, you can see within the Tesla app-and on the lock screen of the phone-live status when Supercharging. So it's called Live Activity Support, launched with iOS version 16.1 or later. You will see when the car is charging, how much distance it has traveled, and all the information directly on your phone screen-without opening the app.

The New App by Tesla Keep Live Updates
Previously, it was necessary to go into the app to check the charging status, but now, once you start supercharging, your iPhone displays live updates on:
How many kilowatts of power the car is charging with
The current battery charge percentage
Estimated time to charge fully
Total minutes of charging
For your iPhone, being Dynamic Island (the new iPhone 15 Pro or 14 Pro), such information will be presented more intelligently. The whole experience will be interactive and user-friendly.
This will also ease your time, suppose you're shopping at a mall and the car is parked charging outside, then you don't have to go checking in between about how much charge is left. Awesome, you will be notified when it is complete.
Requirements for Alive: The New Feature
Your iPhone must be running iOS 16.1 or higher.
You will need to update the Tesla app.
Supercharging will trigger automatic live activity.

In Which Version of The App Is This Feature Available
Supercharger live activities are available now in the Tesla iOS app version 4.45.0 in the App Store. After the Apple Watch digital key support, it is the latest feature added by Tesla.
However, this has brought great benefits to users as far as supercharging goes. Supercharging became smarter, easier, and time-saving. So, if you are one of those lucky people who own a Tesla and have an iPhone now, it's time to upgrade the app and enjoy this feature.
