Smartphone company Huawaei lost all it's to the American companies during the first Trump session. Back then, the US President forbidded all the American companies to work with Huawei and this led the brand loosing all it's ties with the Play Store and other Google services.
What Now When Trump is Back to Rule Again?
Experts are not ready to take any sort of risks this time when President Donald Trump is back in the White House for another session. Trade war with China has already began and this might be the reason for the smartphone giants to hunt for a safe option to avoid meeting the same fate as what Huawei had experienced few years back.
What Happened to Huawei Smartphones thereafter?
This order from the US Government could not hamper or break the market hold of the brand. It in turn built it's own platforms one of which is HarmonyOS. It also removed Android app from all it's platforms.
Who Else Following Huawei's Path? The big smartphone brands like Oppo, Oneplus, Vivo and Xiaomi are reportedly hunting for a Google free platform just like Huawei did few years back.
Is the Roadmap Ready for the Brands?
Speculations can be heard that HyperOS 3 will do the founding work for this goal set by the brands. There are no exact confirmations of how each brand will work out or will they collaborate with each other or not. Even Huawei's involvement is not clearly known as of now.
What else Remains to be Known yet?
One big question lingering in the market is what will be Xiaomi's take on this! Will Xiaomi adapt to Huawei's Ark Compiler and Petal Maps or more? Or will they work singularly to create something big? Well this will be known only with time.

Xiaomi in the present time is China's leading smartphone brand as per latest research. It is closely followed by Huawei after which stands Oppo and then Vivo. With Huawei loosing it's global market the other brands dominate the global mobile market being the Top Fives. So if cut ties with Google then that would impact the mobile market significantly in a negetive way ofcourse.
