Consumers disappointed by absence of memory boost in Galaxy Tab S11 series
Tech lovers are eagerly awaiting Samsung's new flagship tablet lineup Galaxy Tab S11, S11+, and S11 Ultra. But several reports and leaks indicate that in this fresh lineup, there will be no RAM or internal storage upgrade, which could disappoint all the users.

RAM and Storage Options Will Remain The Same

As per leaked specs, Galaxy Tab S11 series will also support the same RAM and storage configuration as that of the earlier S9 series —

Tab S11: 8GB RAM + 128GB / 256GB Storage

Tab S11+: 12GB RAM + 256GB / 512GB Storage

Tab S11 Ultra: 12GB RAM + 512GB / 1TB Storage

That is, if one wants to in the Tab S11 series, they will get a best of 16GB RAM or 1TB storage, whereas the majority of competing brands have already exceeded this limit.

Fails To Meet The Needs of Modern Users

Today's users need more storage and memory to watch videos or surf the web, but to play games, video edit, sketch, multitask and run power-intensive apps. But no Galaxy Tab S11 lineup move to fill that gap.

Chipset and Display Upgrade of Samsung Galaxy Tab S11

The Galaxy Tab S11 line will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, enhanced AMOLED screen and fresh design. Besides that, enhanced performance when using the S Pen is anticipated. But for performance enthusiasts, there can be some disillusionment since no improvement in the hardware's most critical aspect, RAM and storage, is seen.

Is it an Upgrade in The Future Or a Strategic Move?

Experts say that Samsung can include increased memory in its future FE version or 2026 Galaxy Tab S12 series. But currently, the Galaxy Tab S11 series will rely solely on the new processor and software experience.

This device won't provide additional memory with Galaxy Tab S11 — This news has certainly been disappointing to a majority of the tech lovers. Even with the new look and efficient processor, it might not be sufficient for those who want a future-proof, efficient multi-tasking and high-performance tab. Samsung hopes more high-performance phones continue.
