The New ONE UI 8 Beta is Available for Which Phones?

Now it is only released in South Korea for the Samsung Galaxy S25 series. That means for the Galaxy S25, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, and the Galaxy S25 Plus in South Korea. And in the other countries, it will be released very soon, where the company is usually releasing beta updates.

Specification of One UI 8 Beta

This new software features firmware version S9x8NKSU3ZYER, anists 3.3GB in size for the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The possible size for the other models may vary. With this update, the users could get the May 2025 security patch.

The updated beta version is expected to be released in Germany, the UK, and the US. This new updated version doesn’t include a major UI redesign like the One UI 7. It is a more refined update, and there are a couple of improvements.

How to Enroll for the New Updates in Samsung Galaxy S25 Series?

Users of the Galaxy S25 series should download the Samsung Members app to enroll in the One UI 8.0 Beta program. Then log in to the app with their account and select the One UI 8.0 Beta program on the Home Page.

After the registration on the app, you will get the option of updates, like regular updates from the settings. Then tap the software update and “Download and Install”. After the installation is completed, the phone will restart.

There might be unexpected behavior, so you should download the new updates if you are not bothered by certain behavioral changes.

The company is fixing its mistake with the One UI 7. Users have to wait for the One UI 7 and Android 15 updates for a few months. Then the launching plan was delayed, started and stopped, and then it restarted for a few countries.

Hopefully, this time the company doesn’t repeat the same mistakes that occurred in the previous updates. And the new updates are starting very soon, before the expected time.
