This July with Galaxy unpacked event Samsung launched three new devices – The Galaxy Z Fold 7, galaxy Z Flip 7 and Flip 7 FE. While the Fold 7 garnered all the media attention there were two more devices that deserve their own place and praise.

Can this Fan Edition do the magic for the Z-Series as it has done for the S-Series?
The Samsung Z Flip 7 FE is our star of the day and will be compared with others in the galaxy.
In appearance the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is a replica of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, but are there improvements? Or is the yesteryears device still the better choice?
Pricing: Z Flip 7 FE is available on Samsung’s official Indian website and Amazon and is available for Pre-Order. Prices start from Rs 89,999 for 256+8 GB model.
Z Flip 6 is also still available on Amazon for as low as Rs 70,350 for 256+12 GB model.
Display: When flipped open, both handsets, greets you with a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display. When folded and have a 3.4-inch cover display.

Older one has the better chipset:
One of the most significant differences between the Z Flip 7 FE and Z Flip 6 is their respective processors. While the Flip 7 FE runs on Samsung’s own Exynos 2400, the Z Flip 6 runs on a custom version of Qualcomm’s 2024 flagship dubbed the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy.
Despite Samsung claiming that there won't be much difference between the two processors, it was discovered that the Snapdragon chip performed better than the Exynos. Keeping this in mind, we can assume that the Z Flip 7 FE may not be mightier than the Z Flip 6.
The Z Flip 7 FE has the same battery as Z Flip 6, can it deliver same?
Another key similarity between the two Z Flips is that they both have the same 4000mAh battery. This may sound like a relatively low capacity, especially when compared to regular android phones, but in practice, we found the Z Flip 6 was able to offer just about a day’s usage for regular users.
However, this doesn’t necessarily mean we can expect the same from the Z Flip 7 FE, as the two different chipsets play a role here. We’ll have to wait to see how efficient the Exynos 2400 chip is.

RAMifications:
Essentially, the more RAM a phone has, the less lag you should experience and the faster you’ll be able to navigate between apps. While the Z Flip 7 FE sports 8GB of RAM, the Z Flip 6 boasts a whopping 12GB.
Cameras: The Z Flip 7 FE and Z Flip 6 both have three cameras. Both feature a 50MP main, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 10MP front lens.
Z Flip 6’s camera was a solid performer and as Samsung has retained the same setup, so we can expect similar output.
Final Verdict: The Z Flip 6 has my vote. A more tried and tested processor, has more RAM, is available for a much reasonable price tag, and with Samsung's legacy of long future software and security updates it won't lag behind much the newly launched devices.
