Now it is official; the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 is officially on the market. Yet really smart techies say, rather brightly, that it is not really new but the newest version of the former watch. All is well, but the change in design, features, and software really has kept the Galaxy Watch 8 in the same orbit.

Design and Display: Lesser Change, More Refinement.
The same design as the last two Galaxy Watch 8s can be sure for the new round AMOLED display for premium build quality. This physical bezel present now comes in two sizes: 40 mm and 44 mm. Brightness and touch response as such have become slightly better, yet the difference is hardly noticeable to a layman.
Hardware and Performance: Continuance of The Previous One
The performance, however, has shown no great difference from before in the way it uses Samsung's latest Exynos W1000 chipset; although speeds are a little faster, app loading times don't feel particularly different from day-to-day use.
All battery life has done little more than hold in line with what was observed under previous use.
Health Tracking and Fitness Features: Added Improvement to The Old Feature
The Galaxy Watch 8 is really pretty impressive on their health side. Heart rate monitor, SpO2, ECG, sleep tracking, body composition sensor, etc. Nothing new has really been added; hence, it has that inability now to create a loud bubble for the present consumers.
Software and User Experience of Samsung Galaxy Watch 8
The watch has One UI Watch 6 and Wear OS 5. The interface is well acquainted with the user's needs, and there are no beneficial innovations in the module found. This experience in the Galaxy ecosystem will also find a little repetitiveness with this watch.

Price and Purchase Reason
This Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 will hold a price tag of approximately ₹32,999 in the Indian market. Touching that figure, the absence of some new features becomes much more evident when compared to the last one. Definitely an improvement; not bad for the first-time smartwatch buyer, but older ones find lesser motivation to upgrade.
Functionality-wise, it's not deficient; maybe the name itself calls out new. Quite reliable and effective but very limited as far as innovativeness is concerned. So it can very well be termed a smartwatch stuck in a familiar orbit.
