The Samsung Galaxy S series has always been a mainstay in the premium list of smartphones. The most recently and soon-to-be-launched Galaxy S26 series is not an exception. While beyond hardware powers and better cameras or even faster processors, most users and tech enthusiasts agree that there should be a slight change in design among all Galaxy S26 models.

The Back Design of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Could Have Been a Little More Grip-Friendly
All three models have a glass back design: Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra. It's premium but slippery; hence, it may even fall while using it. It'll cause the most damage to users if the phone slips from their hand while working.
This would help if Samsung added a little more texture or a matte-finish to the back design.
The Camera Bump Is Too Big and Uncomfortable
Another of the many problems is the **camera bump** that is really quite big. In the case of the Galaxy S26 Ultra model, the camera almost occupies more than one-third of the phone itself. It's ugly to look at, besides causing the phone to wobble while you put it on a table, which is more annoying than the user.
For fixing that, if a slightly more in-groove camera setup is brought to the uniform design, that design would be a lot more premium and friendly to the user.

Some Changes are Also Needed in the Positioning of Buttons and Ports
The power and volume buttons on the Galaxy S26 series are slightly higher. At times, it becomes quite difficult to manage a larger model single-handedly. Those buttons should have been lowered a little to make the operation easy for one hand.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is undisputedly a very strong technical lineup. With insignificant changes in design, this series may catch up better with popular demand. These changes should include matte finish rather than glass back, reduced camera bump, proper button placement, among others. Such minor changes might finally convince most people that the Galaxy S26 is the best overall smartphone series of the year.
