For the last few years, Samsung has been launching a scaled-down version of its flagship Galaxy S line-up, with the S FE moniker. While the Galaxy S22 series Fan Edition model did not make it, for the S23 series the company is bringing back the contender. Of late, new images of the upcoming S23FE have surfaced on the web, and it does look impressive. The device will be launched soon as it has cleared FCC certification. In fact, it has also made it to TENAA, the well-known Chinese certification database.
As per the TENAA listing and new leaks, the upcoming S23 FE has SM-S7110 as the model number. It will have a 6.3-inch FHD+ screen along with 8GB RAM. The storage option will range from 128-256 GB. While the CPU is yet to be confirmed, from the leaks it seems to be the Qualcomm SD 8 Gen 1. Rumor sites hint at the availability of another variant with Samsung’s own Exynos 2200 chipset.
The imaging spec of the upcoming device looks impressive, too. A 50 MP primary rear sensor with OIS is on the cards with a 12MP ultra-wide lens and another 8MP telephoto lens will be there. At the front, it is likely to get the same 10MP PDAF sensor used in the Galaxy S22 lineup. Powering the sleek device will be a 4370mAh battery though it may not charge as fast as some of the segment rivals from Oppo and Redmi.
