The Samsung Galaxy has regular usage of ads spam notifications. Majority of the users complain due to periodic app spam notifications that appear every time after clicking some buttons and irritate the users. These notifications do not belong, rather, they are promotional ads destined to spoil the experience usage of the Galaxy by a user.
Such "notification ad spam" issues are not limited to the notification area of browser system messages. More often than not, the user would not even be able to turn it off from user configuration.

Samsung One UI 8.5 - Potential Solution
Samsung is going to bring up this as an additive measure in the former big update of One UI, that is One UI 8.5.
From the screenshots leaked, there will be a new option termed "Block apps with excessive ads."
This means if the feature is enabled, the apps that send notification ads too often would be sent to a 'deep sleep' mode. An application in the deep sleep mode is not allowed to disturb the system or send notifications.
Or to put it in simpler terms, "Intelligent blocking" mode would be turned on if one desired. Now in this case, the phone itself will analyze the notification and will block it if it deems it to be an ad. It will happen all on the phone-nothing goes to any servers.
Whom it will Suit and Limitations
Most especially useful for those who, as annoying as those notifications might be, sometimes do use the app but are interested in it for such things as "free games," "wallpapers," and then free utility apps.
Maybe it will shut out some basic or important ones once it goes into deep sleep, but there should be a whitelist or something for Samsung apps that will keep that awake every time. Yet not confirmed.
Where will it be available?
According to rumors, One UI 8.5 will first roll out to the Galaxy S26 series, which mostly would be in early 2026.
Then, the rollout for the remaining Galaxy phones would be a phased one.
Why this would be great for a user and what to do now
* Stopping the constant assault of notifications would make their phone far less annoying to use.
* Applications in deep sleep would not run in the background, consuming less battery and ram.
* If until now you ended up exasperated-you can turn off notifications manually through app settings (provided the developers set up the notification channel correctly).

Conclusion
This Samsung One UI 8.5 was meant to release a very powerful feature to Galaxy phones, preventing them from allowing unnecessary notifications, that is, 'notification ad spam,' and thereby making the daily experiences more comfortable and smoothed out for the users. Though it may not greatly make sense within some applications or behaviors of users, it would be a huge relief for individuals who are so sick and tired of ad spam.
