Chinese technology giant Xiaomi is gearing up to combat the competition from its home turf rivals and Samsung in the Indian market. The Redmi Note 13 line-up of smartphones is ready to be unveiled. Already, several leaks of the upcoming line-up have appeared online. As per the updates, 5 different models in the Redmi Note 13 line-up will be offered. These will be 4G and 5G models. Some sources, however, have said there will be 4 models in the series.
The leaks suggest the two 4G models in the upcoming line-up will feature some Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. The 4G models of Redmi Note 13 may not be sold in every market though and there will be a version with NFC and another without it. The 5G models in the line-up will be powered by a mid-range MediaTek Dimensity SoC. These 5G variants will have front cameras with high resolutions. One of these models will be launched under the Poco sub-brand.
Not much is known about the cost and release date of the upcoming Redmi Note 13 series. However, a steep price change is unlikely given the steep competition in entry-level and mid-range smartphone markets. One of these models, presumably the Note 13 Pro recently got listed in a Chinese certification platform, 3C. It surfaced earlier on TENAA too. So, a China-specific launch may be imminent.
