PUBG is among the most loved combat-centric games and its mobile version is quite enticing. With each update, the studio adds exciting new features to enhance the gameplay experience further. Now, the version 2.8 update is here and it comes with loads of goodies that are sure to encourage the players. There are new modes, weapons and more. The themed mode in it is Zombie’s Edge. In this version, the Dagger is the default weapon.
The Zombie’s Edge game mode retains the Battle Royale experience but adds some new elements. Players get to explore a region called Aerolith Lab, laden with Mutants and other dangerous creatures. The main challenge is fighting with a best named the Rage Berserker. If you kill the beast, you get robust supplies. The mode also comes with some special themed items such as Mutation Gauntlets, Maglev Hoverboard, Mutation Blade and Exclusive Emote Card.
Interestingly, PUBG Mobile has joined hands with KFC in this version update! Starting October 2, PUBG mobile players will see KFC restaurants in-game maps. These virtual KFC outlets will contain supplies and recovery items. You will be able to use recovery items like nuggets and Chicken Bucket to recover health. There will be KFC self-ordering kiosks selling those KFC recovery items.
The gameplay experience for players using specific mobile devices will get a boost. The version 2.8 update adds 90 FPS Support for devices like the Sony Xperia 5, iQOO Neo 7 Pro, OnePlus 10 Pro, Samsung S22 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 etc.
