Despite the game was a 2.5D action adventure game, the game has been a big success. According to recent reports, The Lost Crown sold over two million copies which is a huge success for such a title.
POP had been a huge sensation during the early 2000s, mostly with the Sands of Time trilogy. All the games had been huge successes. But with Ubisoft slowly turning their attention towards the Assassin’s Creed series, which is widely believed to replace the POP series.

The magic of The Assassin’s Creed is slowly fading away. With its repetitive gameplay and other issues, fans are slowly turning their heads from the series. With the recent massive success of The Lost Crown video game, the fans were expecting a resurrection of the series.

Recently, they announced 2 million sales on X/Twitter, and they wrote, “Well over 2M players by now. You’ve revived the legend. The Prince is back, and believe us — he's just warming up.”

Things are pretty much clear that Ubisoft will surely release more Prince of Persia titles. We may even get to see a new series of this amazing franchise. There are even rumors that they might remake The Sands of Time trilogy. We are presently hoping for the best.
