After a wait of over two months, the Oppo Reno7 series is finally ready for its global rollout. Introduced back in November 2021, the Reno7 and Reno7 Pro are now available in India, both a bit different from their Chinese iterations.

Starting with the Reno7 Pro, it features a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Max SoC combined with 12GB of RAM. The smartphone also gets 5G capabilities making it future-ready. Now back to the RAM, Oppo says that the smartphone can boast up to 7GB more RAM (on top of 12GB) using Dynamic RAM expansion if need be, if the 256GB of internal storage allows for the same.

The smartphone comes with a 6.5-inch AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a punch-hole cutout at the top left corner housing a 32MP selfie shooter with a Sony IMX709 image sensor.

At the back of the smartphone is a rectangular plateau for all the camera sensors, comprising a 50MP primary shooter with an f/1.8 aperture followed by an 8MP ultrawide lens 2MP macro cameras. While the latter might not sound as impressive, the overall camera setup feels quite legible.

It also comes with a 4,500 mAh battery with support for up to 65W fast charging with SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging. The phone runs Android 11 out-of-the-box, and it comes loaded with the brand’s ColorOS 12 on top.

Now coming to the Oppo Reno7, the Indian - or perhaps the global variant - comes packed with a Dimensity 900 chipset. The Chinese variant, on the other hand, features a Snapdragon 778G chipset. Moreover, the Indian version comes paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

It features a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. Besides that, it packs a 64MP primary camera combined with an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro sensors shared with the Reno7 Pro. There’s also a 32MP selfie shooter at the front.

And while it comes with a similar 4,500 mAh battery as compared to the global version, the Indian version gets 65W charging speeds with support for SuperVOOC charging capabilities compared to the 60W charging speeds of the global version.

The Oppo Reno7 price in India is set at Rs. 28,999 and it will arrive in two shades, namely Blue and Black starting February 17 on Flipkart, Oppo’s website, and selected retail outlets. The Oppo Reno7 Pro will be available starting February 8 on similar channels, priced at Rs. 39,999.
