The Chinese tech giant has quietly unveiled Oppo Reno 14 F, a sibling to their already famous big brothers Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro.
What is running the Oppo Reno 14 F?
The Reno 14 F surprisingly has a Snapdragon chipset that runs the show instead of the usual Mediatek chipset that we had previously seen in their Reno series.
This device comes with a Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, paired with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone runs the latest ColorOS 15which is based on Android 15.
Display and Design:
For display we have a beautiful 6.57" FullHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display with 1,400 nits peak brightness that comes with AGC Dragontrail DT-STAR D+ protection to keep that gorgeous screen secure from accidental falls and scratches. The phone also come with the latest technology where the screen also works when you have wet fingers or wearing gloves.
Camera:
The Reno series has always been known for its imaging capabilities. The camera department has been a highlight since its launch. The Reno 14 F certainly carries those genes. It has a triple camera setup at the rear - 50MP primary (Sony IMX882) with OIS, 8MP ultrawide (AF) and a 2MP macro. For selfie we have a 32 MP (AF) shooter.
AI is the in thing right now and this phone also has some tricks up its sleeves. AI-powered photography features include - AI Flash Livephoto, AI Livephoto Export, AI Recompose, AI Perfect Shot, and AI Style Transfer.
