Oppo is among the popular smartphone brands that cater to various segments of smartphone users. While its Reno and Find lineup of smartphones is aimed at high-end and demanding users, it does shave some enticing budget devices in the portfolio. One of the upcoming budget offerings from its stable, namely OPPO A38 recently appeared on the UAE website. Its full specs can be seen on the website. The device has a glowing back panel and weighs just 190 grams. Expected to launch in India soon, it ships in 2 hues and has bagged BIS certification.

The OPPO A38 does not support 5G networks and it is powered by the mid-range Helio G85 chipset by MediaTek. With 4GB RAM and inbuilt 128 GB EMMC5.1 storage, it aims to woo entry-level smartphone users. Oppo has provided the device with ColorOS 13.1 UI atop Android 13. The 6.56″screen has a HD+ 1612 x 720 pixels resolution and it supports a 90Hz variable refresh rate. The company says the maximum brightness supported is 720 nits.

Oppo equips the A38 with a 50MP AI twin camera setup at the back, another 2 MP depth sensor and a selfie camera is there with a 5 MP sensor. A decent capacity 5000 mAh battery powers it. As expected, it supports the company’s well-known SUPERVOOC 33W fast charge technology. Feature-wise it gets most things right. You get support for facial recognition, dual band Wi-Fi and there is a fingerprint sensor at the side, too.
