Clearly there has been improvements in the display department – bigger and brighter than the previous edition. But the audio department has been downgraded from a set of stereo speakers to a single speaker at the bottom.

Nord CE5 has the Mediatek Dimensity 8350 Apex (4 nm) has AnTuTu score of : 1355407
Nord CE4 has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 (4 nm) has AnTuTu score of: 849360
The Nord CE5 scores significantly high above CE4, that means improvement in everyday usage as well as intensive tasks and gaming.
UI and Software: The differentiating factor of OnePlus
Nord CE5 comes with OxygenOS 15 which is based on Android 15 out of the box and claims for 4 major OS updates and 6 years of security patch update. Which is better software support from OnePlus than Nord CE4 which came with the promise for only 2 major OS update.
Battery:
Nord CE5 comes with a massive 7100mAh battery that dwarves the 5500mAh battery found in CE4. Thanks to the new silicon-carbon technology the phone still remains very slim and light.
**Nord CE5 comes with a 80W charging adapter while the CE4 came with 100W.
Camera:
The Nord CE5 has a dual-camera setup in the back. A 50 MP f/1.8 main camera with PDAF and OIS and a 8 MP f/2.2 ultrawide lens. It takes bright images with enough sharpness. The dynamic range is good.
Nord CE4 has the exact same camera setup and the output is also similar. So, not much improvement there.
Final Verdict:
The OnePlus Nord CE5 is a significant upgrade over the Nord CE4 in many aspects but it could have been better in terms of camera and the audio downgrade from stereo to mono is a letdown.
OnePlus Nord CE5 will be available for sale on Amazon from 12 July starting at Rs 24,999.
