OnePlus is a brand that has made an impact on the premium smartphone segment, challenging the dominance of Samsung and Apple. While OnePlus 11 received overall good reviews this year, the company is almost ready to reveal the successor namely OnePlus 12. Several online leaks made headlines but the company recently unveiled its first look. While all details were not made clear, there is no doubt it will be a flagship device, with impressive specs and stunning design.

The company revealed the first look of the upcoming flagship phone at the recently held BOE conference event in China. The chipset and display details are now out. The model was displayed with a case so that the entire design is not revealed. However, it is clear that the model will get a large square camera bump at the back side and there will be the much-loved alert slider at its right side. The display has very thin bezels on all sides. The front has a punch hole for the selfie camera.

The USP of the upcoming OnePlus 12 is its display. The company focused on its Oriental Screen, laden with OPPO's Display P1 chip. The phone has bagged DisplayMate A+ certification. Its LTPO screen supports 2K resolution and the expected size is 6.7-inch. The peak brightness is 2,600 nits.

This is going to be one of the first phones of 2024 to come equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Other impressive specs include 50W wireless charging and a USB 3.2 port, a triple rear camera setup with OIS-enabled 50-megapixel primary sensor. There will be 48-megapixels ultra-wide lens and a 64-megapixel OmniVision lens. The selfie camera will have a resolution of 32-megapixel. Rounding off the package is a 5,400mAh battery.
