Short Inroduction:

The Nothing Headphone 1 features a distinctive design comprising of squircle-shaped earcups, see-through elements, and support for a 3.5 mm audio cable. Its design resembles old cassette tapes. They are available in black or silver, with “Nothing Headphone 1” branding on one earcup and “Sound by KEF” on the other.

Nothing Headphone 1: Design and build

The Headphone 1 has a sleek and lightweight design that comfortably sits over your head. The transparent glass design with a cassette design takes the design to another level. You may or may not be a fan of Nothing's aesthetic choices but o boy! that's a head turner for sure. There is nothing like it in the headphone market.

Buttons and Control:

The feature which needs highlighting is the roller button, which glides as you adjust volume. It makes it easy to access and less confusing unlike the touch controls. The other distinct feature of Headphone 1 has to be the paddle button - You can Push the paddle button to the right and left to change tracks or to answer or reject calls, hold to scroll forward or to rewind.

The Most imortant section - Sound quality:

Aferall this is what will make or break a deal. You’re certainly a music enthusiast to even be interested in a headphone when the more easy and convenient TWS are around.

Nothing offers some premium features to attract buyers - It features a 40 mm dynamic driver surrounded by an 8.9 mm PU that blocks unwanted sound even without ANC.

The hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is also promising but not as great as the reigning, defending, undisputed champion Sony WH – 1000XM5. the Transparency Mode as of now is also pretty good, but again the Apple audio products are the benchmark in this department.

Conclusion:

Overall it is definitely a decent product and an exciting addition to the premium audio segment where it has to go against the giants like Sony, Senneheiser, and Bose. The premium price tag of Rs 21,999 seems justtified for the look and feel, premium material used, and top tier sound engineering. It is available for Rs 19,999 as initial price offering,

Headphone 1 as their first ever product is a fine specimen and the future looks promising.
