Motorola faces wrath of it's users. How do we know? Well, recent posts on Reddit by Moto users surprised the enthusiasts who love the company mainly for its battery life and longevity.
What did the Motorola User Share?
One person who uses the 2022 Moto G Stylus 5G wrote on the Reddit platform that his handset started overheating suddenly and it's battery is draining faster than ever even when the phone is not used and completely at rest. He is not able to even charge the phone because of this overheating problem as the phone stops charging when overheated.
It is also a shock that the user bought his Motorola handset only one month ago with a good price. He is now heartbroken as he bought the device being a fan of it's battery life and longevity.

There is another post of Reddit by a user complaining that he owns two Motorola mobiles the Z3 Play of 2019 and Edge 2021 and both are giving same trouble.
Complain from a Moto Couple
A person claimed that he and his wife uses Moto phones not same but different models. Strangely they are both facing same issue of rapid battery drainage. What is more shocking is that both their devices are updated with the latest software version on date. It is from 30th April they are noticing 10% battery loss per hour.

Another person has posted that his 2022 model of the Moto Edge 5G is loosing charge crazily since a week now. This rapid loss of battery life is shocking and unexpected.
What is there to be Pointed Out?
We must agree that these smartphones are couple of years old for which they have lost their original power by 20%-30%. Having said that the 1% loss per month has no link with the sudden increase of draining battery.
If to draw something from these, it can be simply put that the age of the smartphones might be a reason of draining battery. Infact, all the complains give a glimpse of software issue. So if you face something similar first check for the latest software update and even then it doesn't solve only then think of switching.
