Recently, Motorola seems to be back in the game as it seems to be taking the Indian market with storm thanks to a number of very viable options in the market that offer a really good value for money proposition.
A couple of options have been added by the brand in the last couple of months, especially in the G series line-up. Only a few days ago did the brand launch the Moto g82 in the Indian market, and it went on sale starting today on Flipkart and other retail stores like Jiomart and Reliance Digital.
As for its specifications, the smartphone comes packed with a Snapdragon 695 SoC coupled with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. However, there’s only one storage variant, with 128GB on offer. The primary talking point of the smartphone is the 6.6 pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The advantage of having a pOLED display is minimum bezels and a very small chin.
It also brings a first in the segment 50MP OIS primary lens for enhanced image and video quality. It is further accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro lens. Moreover, the phone is backed up by a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging out-of-the-box.
The moto g82 also comes with a sleek and slim design, something that has been the case with the Motorola phones of yore. It also gets Android 12 with a near-stock UI out-of-the-box with a promised upgrade to Android 13 as well. Lastly, it also gets a 3.5mm headphone jack along with stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
As for its price, the moto g82 is priced at Rs. 21,499 for the base 6GB+128GB variant. The 8GB+128GB variant, on the other hand, costs Rs. 22,999. Moreover, there’s a Rs. 1,500 SBI credit cars instant discount which brings the overall cost of the base variant to just Rs. 1,999. The phone is available in two colours, namely Meteorite Gray and White Lily, across Flipkart and leading retail stores.
