Micromax is all set to make a huge comeback into the Indian market, and since it has revealed the IN Note 1 in the market in November 2021, it’s now gearing up to introduce its successor, dubbed IN Note 2 quite soon. Let’s see what it has on offer.

Micromax terms the rear finish of the IN Note 2 as "Dazzling Glass Finish" and the top left layer of the back panel houses a neatly integrated camera bump, almost reminding us of a recent flagship from another tech company. The camera setup includes a 48MP primary shooter, which is then joined by a 5MP ultrawide lens, and two 2MP sensors for macro shots and depth sensing. And, of course, the whole setup is accompanied by an LED flash unit.

At the front, the IN Note 2 comes packed with a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel, which has a peak brightness of 550 nits and is protected by Gorilla Glass protection, although Micromax has kept its lips sealed on the version of the same. The top of the display also houses a 16MP selfie shooter neatly integrated into a hole-punch cut-out.

Moreover, the phone comes powered by a Helio G95 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM. It comes in a single 64GB storage variant, which is, however, expandable thanks to a dedicated microSD card slot. The phone currently runs on Android 11, though Micromax has not revealed any software update roadmap or when the phone’s going to support Android 12 officially.

The rest of the specifications include a 3.5mm headphone jack, a proprietary USB-C port for fast charging the 5,000mAh battery at speeds up to 30W, liquid cooling, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and so on. It also supports reverse wired charging, which can be helpful if you carry around a lot of devices and one of them is certainly not a power bank.

The phone is expected to go on sale in India via Flipkart and Micromax’s own online store. The Micromax IN Note 2 price in India is set at Rs. 13,490 for the sole 4GB + 64GB version, but, for a limited time, potential buyers can grab it for as low as Rs. 12,490. It will be available starting January 30 in Black and Brown colours.
