Apple fans and technology lovers are eagerly awaiting the much-touted ‘Scary Fast‘ event of the Cupertino-based tech behemoth. Some new leaks on the upcoming products have been making headlines already! It is well-known that at the event Apple will unveil the new MacBook line-up powered by the mighty MacBook Pro range. However, a new leak has been generating buzz that gives a glimpse into the new chip.
The new leaks on the upcoming MacBook line-up do not mention detailed specs. However, it is likely that the box shown in the clip is a MacBook Pro. While the exact spec of the upcoming M3 chip is unknown, it is going to be more powerful and power efficient than the predecessor, namely the M2. The M3 chip may be built on a 3nm process.
The leaks also suggest the upcoming MacBook line-up will be aimed at gamers as well as demanding users. The upcoming M3 chipset may be laden with hardware-driven ray-tracing, much in line with the A17 Pro chip powering the new iPhone 15 Pro. This will offer better performance than software-based graphic acceleration. The new MacBooks will also gain from the recently unveiled MacOS Sonoma, thanks to its new Game Mode.
While details on the new MacBook line-up are still not clear, expect an enhanced display with better brightness and improved battery life may also be on the cards. At any rate, Apple will do its best to race ahead of rivals in the premium laptop segment, including the new Surface range and Galaxy Books.
