Lenovo is in no mood to yield grounds to gaming laptops from rivals Acer and Asus, as it looks like. The Chinese tech giant has launched a high-end gaming laptop under its successful Legion lineup. The new Legion 9i costs a bomb but it brings raw processing power and also has impressive gaming chops! The Legion 9i introduces a powerful Intel Raptor Lake-HX CPU along with a mighty GeForce RTX 4090 GPU. Interestingly, the laptop sports a stunning mini LED panel to woo gamers and movie buffs alike.

Does it have enough oomph to take on the rivals from Acer Nitro and Asus ROG series laptops! Going by the spec, it is safe to say yes! The laptop is powered by a mighty Intel Core i9-13980HX CPU and a beefy Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 is there. You also get 32 GB DDR5 RAM. Powering the machine is a huge 99.99 Wh cell supporting a 330 w fast charging adapter. Through USB-C, 140 Watts charging is supported.

The 16-inch mini LED panel has a 3.2k resolution. The screen supports Dolby Vision and VESA DisplayHDR. Multimedia users will love its DCI-P3/Adobe RGB coverage for color gamut. Storage is handled by a 2 TB NVMe SSD.

To tackle overheating issues Lenovo brings Cooler Master designed cooling solution featuring multiple vents. Supported ports and slots include USB 3.2 Gen1, an SD Card reader, an HDMI 2.1 port and an RJ45 Ethernet port. It outshines most segment rivals with Wi-Fi 7 support. The Legion 9i is slated for an October 2023 launch with a hefty €5,000 price tag.
